Terry Lightfoot
(Musical Director, Clarinet, Saxophone & Vocals)
Terry has a deserved reputation for presenting music of the highest standard and is one of the few jazz stars who have bridged the gap between the jazz audience and the mainstream public. Terry being one of the ‘elite’ British Bandleaders and a star of the traditional jazz boom of the 1960’s, has an enviable reputation as an entertainer and musician of international standing. He has performed many times at The Royal Albert Hall and The
London Palladium, he has toured with the greats, including Louis
Armstrong and Kidd Ory. In 2005 he teamed up with John Dankworth, Don Lusher and Kenny Ball, as The Legends of Jazz, to celebrate the 80th Birthday of Lord Rix. The event was compared by Michael Parkinson.
